A Guilty Pleasure Revs its Third Season

I have little time to watch television these days. No complaints. But when I find some viewing time, my guilty pleasure is The Mask Singer, a celebrity sing-off competition featuring performers in full-body costumes with a stylized face mask. Some of the performances, many supported by backup dancers, are surprising good and delightful.
Broadcasting on FOX and hosted by Nick Cannon, the main highlight of each episode is its end-of-show celebrity reveal. The reveal delivers smiles and surprises. What celebrity will next be unveiled?
Well, some of the 16 performers revealed on Season 2 included bandleader Paul Schaeffer, celebrity doctor Dr. Drew Pinsky, NBA player Victor Oladipo, boxer Laila Ali, figure skater Johnny Weir, and singers Patti LaBelle, Chris Daughtry, Michelle Williams, and Seal. Actor/comedian Wayne Brady as the masked “Fox” won the trophy in the season’s finale over singer Chris Daughtry as “Rottweiler.”
Now in its third season, The Masked Singer spotlights 18 new masked performers. Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger rejoin the show’s judging panelists. As for who are the celebrities unmasked so far for season 3? I won’t tell. You may enjoy binge watching these early episodes and guess who’s behind the mask yourself.
