Emotionality in Art

Spread the love

Emotions are a vitalizing force in artistic production and performance. However, for emotions to be useful in the creation of art, the artist must be in touch with them. It is though self-observation that the artist stimulates the desire to deepen understanding of the dimensions of human emotion. This means that the artist must set aside time to explore first, personal emotionality, and then, through empathic observation, the emotionality of others.
